Mastan is a personal AI research project, offered free of charge and operated by labAI LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States ("Mastan," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Mastan, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Mastan is an experimental artificial-intelligence assistant accessible through the WhatsApp and Telegram messaging platforms. It exists primarily as a personal and academic research project studying how everyday people use practical AI. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mastan. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We may end access for anyone we reasonably believe is using the service underage without consent.
Your access is identified by your phone number (WhatsApp) or Telegram user ID. You are responsible for activity that takes place through your account, and you should not let others use your access to impersonate you.

Mastan's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Do not rely on Mastan for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions, and never use it for emergencies. All output is provided without warranty of accuracy. You are responsible for any decision you make based on it.
Mastan is currently free to use. There are no subscriptions, fees, or payments. Standard charges from your mobile carrier or messaging platform may still apply. If paid features are ever introduced, they will be clearly described and optional, and these Terms will be updated first.
Because Mastan is a research project, anonymized and aggregated information about how the service is used may be studied to understand patterns of practical AI use, including in academic work. This is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, and your use of Mastan is also governed by it.
The Mastan name, design, and underlying technology remain our property. You keep ownership of the content you send. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs for the purpose of operating and researching the service. You may use Mastan's responses for personal or commercial purposes, but you may not resell access to Mastan or claim its outputs were written by a human.
We try to keep Mastan running, but as an experimental project it may be slow, paused, changed, or discontinued at any time, without notice and without liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mastan and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 100.
You agree to hold Mastan and its operators harmless from any claims or expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply after termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in Wyoming.
